Youth Scholarship and Essay Fund

The chapter sponsors the Knight Essay Contest, the Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest and an Eagle Scout scholarship, each of which sends its winner on to the state and national competitions. Prizes, travel costs for finalists and the scholarship awards themselves all come from this fund. A gift here reaches a high school student who has spent a season reading about the Revolution closely enough to argue about it.
