Support the chapter
The chapter is run by volunteers, so almost everything given goes to the work itself. A gift to the grave marker fund buys bronze; a gift to the wreath program buys wreaths. If you would rather we decide, the annual appeal is the most useful gift we receive.
2026 Chapter Appeal
Four hundred documented Revolutionary War patriots are buried in this state. Fewer than half have a marker. Our members find them, verify the record, and pay for the bronze.

More than four hundred Revolutionary War patriots are buried in eastern Missouri, and many of their graves carry no marker at all. Each bronze marker the chapter sets costs roughly two hundred dollars, and that is before the flag holder, the genealogical research needed to document the burial, and the dedication ceremony that follows. Your gift pays for markers, restores headstones that have weathered past reading, and funds the archive work that finds the next unmarked grave.
Every fund

Other ways to give
Many employers match charitable gifts from staff and retirees. A matched gift doubles at no further cost to you.
A line in a will, a beneficiary designation, or appreciated stock. Speak to your adviser, then tell our treasurer.
Uniform components, flags, printing, meeting space or professional time. Research hours count as much as cash.
Tell us what you care about — the graves, the students, the color guard — and we will tell you honestly which fund needs it most this year.
Give today and your name goes in the appeal record kept at the chapter archive.
